Food for revolutionary thought

At a time of rampant price inflation and food riots, two writers question the sustainability of the way the west grows and processes food. Food writer Felicity Lawrence has questioned the benefits of having a food industry dominated by a small group of multi-national operators. The author of 'Eat Your Heart Out' wants a radical rethink on the way we grow, process and eat food. The call is backed by Doctor David Servan-Schreiber whose new book 'Anticancer: a new way of life' blames surging cancer rates on the modern western diet. Darcy Lambton reports.
